"The liquid prep this year had better flavor with Gatoaid mixed in. The new procedure of drinking half of the prep the day before and the second the day of procedure was easier. The procedure had been referred outside my primary health network. I was pleased with the information exchange during this appointment. The PA prioritized this procedure more highly than the referral had initially been given upon receipt. The procedure is now scheduled in about 30 days. I look forward to the diagnostic outcome."

"There was only one interaction that I experienced as intrusive, and it has to do with the medical culture as much as the individual interactions. For Individuals who struggle with eating disorders, self image, perception of self, or simple anxiety management , allowing personal choice strengthens ones willingness to exercise their ownership/responsibility regarding their own health. Your check in process is linear and includes areas that individuals may experience as intrusive. That is not to say they are not critical to care. However, On a first visit, it may be advisable to give the person choice regarding which markers are needed. For example, weight may not be comfortable for some who struggle with that. Allow the individual who is in charge of their own health to have a voice in what they choose to use as check in markers, unless it is driven medically. Requiring weight and height and other things as medically necessary. When all that is occurring as a consult Experienced as intrusive. A simple remedy of that would be to say. Are you available to be weighed in or to be measured for height or are you available for blood pressure or temperature. Of course. If there is a medical procedure, being done, that requires those things for anesthesia. Or determining overall health. I would ask even still that while necessary, giving the person, the option without an attitude would be They're beneficial then expecting them to fall in line. Because it will make you look bad if they do not. I received at this office was really good. Exception what's the check in process. Allowing for individuals to determine how they get checked into your place of business seems only appropriate."
"Everything ended up fine. My only complaint is that I specifically asked what medications would be used during the procedure, because I avoid opiates. Fentanyl was not mentioned, but ended up being used."

We got part way in and the power was out. No traffic lights and traffic was at a crawl. Panic rose. I knew I would be super late and was not wanting to go through the process at home the night before anytime soon. I had been up since 4 am, I was thirsty and just anxious. I called in and they said they had power and not to worry. They gave me a call back after 20 minutes and assured me all was well. We arrived and everything just click. "I am a person with a high level if anxiety when I visit any medical facility but when I was called back to get prepped for a colonoscopy, I was greeted with very kind and reassuring staff and my anxiety eased a bit. The medication they used to sedate me worked and I was told of my results before I left the office. there was also quite a lot of communication between the office and myself leading up to the colonoscopy so I knew what to prepare myself for and I knew what to do from day to day. I will definitely be going back in 10 years. It is also a convenient place being only 10 minutes from my house."

"I've had several colonoscopies. This one had more more detailed directions for the week before than ever before with days of dietary restrictions. But that was supposed to make for a more accurate reading, so it's worth it. I had to drink half the solution the evening before the procedure and then get up at 5am to drink the rest (5 hours before my appointment). For the first time the solution did its job without making me feel sick. My appointment ran late, and my husband was called to pick me up when I was supposedly done a good 40 minutes too early. But the staff was kind and caring and professional."

The anesthesiologist explained the medication will help me to reduce any uncomfortable feelings and not remember anything. The meds worked so well that I don't remember recovery or getting dressed. When I started functionality I was sitting in a chair and my wife came in and said that didn't take long. Overall the procedure is not unpleasant and you don't feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. The worst part is the preparation leading up to the actual procedure and even that is not that bad."
"It’s difficult to give a 5 star rating to a doctor in this line of work because it’s not super fun to have to visit this type of doctor. However, the front office staff is excellent with all patients who enter the building. They are courteous, patient, and kind. These traits to not stop at the front desk. The back office and assistants share the same qualities. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me and has a sense of humor. This helped me relax a bit."

Dr. Lee was very understanding, but offered no recourse as to what I could do to take for an alternative of go lightly. As someone who’s had medical problems for years, my stomach was destroyed. Taking go lightly or trying alternatives as in. MiraLAX and Gatorade Gatorade all I did was throw up for two days and and have diarrhea for two days. I do not see an alternative to having this procedure unless they come up with something that will help people with. Problematic stomachs."
