Gastroenterologist

Dr. Kim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, followed by his medical degree from University of Washington. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at University of Washington Medical Center and affiliated hospitals, including Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He has special interests in prevention, early detection, and management of gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, Barrett’s Esophagus, gastric intestinal metaplasia, colon cancer and polyps, liver diseases including Hepatitis B and C, and inflammatory bowel disease. He is experienced and well-skilled in EGD, colonoscopy, and endoscopic mucosal resection.
