Gastroenterologist
Dr. Ganguli earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University. She received her Doctor of Medicine at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, TN. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pursued sub-specialty training in gastroenterology at the University of Louisville.
Why Gastroenterology?
I chose to specialize in gastroenterology because it allows me to diagnose and treat patients not only through clinical acumen but also to intervene with procedures that could provide immediate relief as well as prevent conditions such as colon cancer. I also love that I can help patients with a variety of conditions within this field, from irritable bowel syndrome to autoimmune conditions such as crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis to liver disease and much more.

Office personnel were efficient and courteous. Dr Ganguli was thorough in getting detailed information about my bowel issues. She explained all the procedures and tests she recommended. She patiently answered my questions.
Dr. Ganguli is a good doctor. It was my first visit with her. I found her knowledgeable and she put me at ease about my procedure. She communicated findings and next steps clearly and concisely. I would like to continue seeing her if I experience problems in the future.
This is my second time having a procedure at WAGI. They work quickly when getting you prepped for anesthesia, it can be a little overwhelming when you are sleep deprived and hungry, but everyone is friendly and acts like they enjoy their job, which makes the situation feel less awkward and anxiety inducing. I think all the staff needs to be celebrated and acknowledged for the effort they put in and the exceptional work they do.

She explained how the procedure worked very clear to me i did not see her after the procedure but then the person that was there explained to me the results and handed it to me and they were all nice.

Dr. Ganguli was friendly. She took time to explain my options and that I thoroughly understood my choices.
Doc was kind and attentive. When I spoke, she wasn't talking over me as a lot of doctors do. She stopped and listened and provided quality advice. She went over my history and I support the direction she is heading. I was happy with this doctor and this visit I just wish I didn't have to wait THREE MONTHS for my appt. to have your office call me and say WHOOPS ONE MORE MONTH LOL! Not the docs fault exactly but an issue still. 4 months of pure pain.

The portal for information is really bad though. It was VERY difficult to navigate and confusing, even for someone who is tech savvy. This has nothing to do with the staff though so 5 stars.
