About Yuen San Yee, M.D.

Dr. Yuen San Yee graduated from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1983. He also completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Southern Illinois University Hospitals in 1986. Dr. Yee received advanced fellowship training in Gastroenterology with a focus in Therapeutic Endoscopy, Heptology, and Liver Transplantation at the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. He served as Clinical Professor in Richmond until 1991, when he started his private practice in Bremerton. Dr. Yee conducts a full service gastroenterological consultation and a wide range of endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, therapeutic biliary endoscopy (ERCP), insertion of stents, and feeding tubes. Dr. Yee is an active member with honorary Fellowship standing in the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and also American Gastroenterological Association. Dr Yee is fluent in English and Cantonese. Dr. Yee’s hobbies include fishing, gardening, exercise, and traveling. He also enjoys volunteering work for international medical charities and he serves on various professional committees as a board member.
